About a year ago, my beautiful daughter Emily came home from a youth service at our church. She brought a brochure to us in our bedroom and wanted to talk. I looked at it and it struck me how similar it was to our Shug's business logo, a black and pink purse with black and white toile. She told us about what she had learned about Human Trafficking. We read the brochure and watched some things online. We were blown away. This terrible injustice so gripped our hearts. A few days went by and I couldn't shake it. I researched and prayed. I came across so much information. I wrote papers for my classes on this topic. I dreamed of one day having a restoration facility for these victims. A place for them to feel safe, free, get strong and heal. There are so few places for these women and children to go once they are rescued. We want to give a portion of our sales to organizations who are fighting and working for this cause. These are a few of the groups we will be donating to.
