UPDATE: Mema's Broken Chair

I found this chair on the curb in someone's trash. I love the scalloped lines of the back! The seat is loose and it needs some love, but I have a vision to make it fun again!!! (see Jode's toes?? He was talking to me as I was snapping this photo for you! I like his toes in this pic! It makes me smile.)
This is a wine rack my parents had before they made some changes in their pantry. They gave it to us and it has sat in the garage for maybe 2 years. I have some ideas to make it special.
We had a party some months ago and a darling girl sat down in one of Mema's old chairs. We knew it needed some attention but she sat before we could tell her. The next thing we knew, she was on the floor. We felt terrible...still do!! She handled it with grace and class, and was more worried about our chair than her hurt feelings (& seat). I wasn't sad for the chair. Yes, it was my Mema's, but a chair is just a thing and my memories are far more valuable. Anyhow, I could see this chair becoming something else!!! These will be my first projects!!
Miss Mia and I found this table for $11 at a thrift store. It's cute enough but not so much as it is....we have some plans for this!!
